A holistic media agency that specializes in Social Media, Video Content Production, Digital Marketing and Augmented Reality is searching for an Android developer to research, design, develop and maintain the official android app. As a developer your responsibilities will be to write error free code in Kotlin and pixel perfect UI design as per Material UI guidelines. Also, provide in-depth engineering support during debugging, performance optimizations etc. during the rollout phase to customers.
Job Responsibilities
Programming / Software Development
Understand the project requirements and write code for various modules, services, or systems
Work on various cutting edge technologies and design, verify, test, document or refactor code
Would require to learn and participate in improving knowledge at individual and team level
Would need to work with the team on producing high-quality software systems
Apply Standards to achieve well-engineered results
Participate in code reviews and knowledge sharing
Job Requirements
Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services.
Experience in developing apps in MVP/MVVM.
Experience in Kotlin programming language along with JAVA.
Strong knowledge of layouts, themes, styles, views and other Android UI concepts especially pertaining to Material Design Guidelines.
Strong knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
Familiar with advanced Android features such as Camera, Bluetooth, Location, Sensors etc.
